“I just want to protect them – to take the pain away. And I can’t

Seeing your child struggle with an anxiety disorder is terrifying

We know because we’ve been there ourselves. As fellow humans who have had children, family members or patients with anxiety disorders, we know the pain you and your child feel right now.

Tears at the smallest thing. The slammed doors. A point-blank refusal to leave the house. Suffocating clinginess. Meltdowns you’d do anything to avoid.
To say it’s tough is an understatement.

And you? After the hours spent helping your child sleep, you worry about their education, their shrinking group of friends and what dreadful development lies around the corner. Your other children suffer from the atmosphere at home, and you worry they’ll fall prey to this savage condition too.

You’re exhausted. Fragile. Scared.

You’ve tried ignoring it, thinking it’s just a phase. You’ve tried self-help books, new pets, time away from school. You might have tried your GP, paid for therapy, sought help from CAMHS. But still, your child is in the same situation. In fact, they’re getting worse.

Anxiety disorders can be treated. But they need a specialist approach, especially where children are concerned.

The be-hive approach isn’t therapy. Instead, it focuses on a clinically proven combination of communication, education and resilience-building activities. We support and teach you – as parents – too. You see, it’s only by changing the environment at home that parents can truly help their children heal and leave anxiety behind.

Together, we’ll give your child a second shot at enjoying the rest of their childhood.

Here’s how we help your child – and you – leave anxiety behind.

We like to keep things simple. That’s why we have just two carefully developed programmes to support children and their families.

First, you complete a short questionnaire which incorporates the GAD 7 test. This helps us understand your child’s anxiety levels. We can then recommend the programme best suited to your family.

It takes guts to admit you and your child need help. Which is why we’ll do everything we can to get your family back on track.

What makes

be-hive different?

The be-hive approach to reducing childhood anxiety is founded on five simple elements. It is these five elements which set be-hive apart from methods you might have explored elsewhere.

01

Family First

The be-hive approach works with your family to address what’s going on at home, not just with your child.

That’s because as much as your child can work on their emotional resilience in private sessions with their coach, they need ongoing support and understanding to make those learnings stick.

As parents, you are uniquely qualified to support your child and help them heal. Your dedicated coach gives you the tools to do just that.

02

Clinically Sound

Everything your child and you experience with be-hive has been developed to the highest possible standard by people who care enormously. Our highly qualified team includes mental health clinicians, GPs and paediatricians.

We are also parents, brothers and sisters who understand the real-life impact of overwhelming anxiety. It’s this breadth of expertise, depth of passion and genuine understanding that creates our thorough and robust approach, carefully created to meet the needs of children and young people.

03

Relatable

Your child will work with a specialist coach, chosen for their ability to relate to young people. It’s a breath of fresh air for children to chat to someone who ‘gets’ it and is young enough to remember anxiety from a child’s perspective.

Specially trained by our team of clinicians, our child coaches create a safe, comfortable environment where your child can consider activities and ideas, they’d previously do anything to avoid.

04

Positive & Pressure-free

Life with anxiety really sucks. That’s why we work with positivity, warmth and kindness. We don’t make things even more difficult by guilt-tripping you or using manipulative sales techniques.

Our pricing is transparent, and you can pay in monthly instalments. You can even try before you buy – once you sign up, we won’t take a penny from you for two weeks. This way you can decide whether our approach works for you and your child.

05

Living for the moment

We focus on the present with the future in mind, celebrating your child’s courage and blossoming resilience. That means we don’t dwell on past triggers. In our experience, it just piles on the worry, guilt and frustration – that’s the last thing we want.

By supporting children to grow their resilience, they can begin to enjoy the here and now again. Ready to grow and be themselves once more without pressure.

Introducing

Our Programmes

Both programmes are developed to help your child understand and control their anxiety. They also give you, as parents, tools and techniques to support your child now and in the future.

We’re so confident that our programmes WILL transform your child and your family, that if you sign up and decide within 14 days of starting the programme that it’s not going to help your family… you won’t pay a penny.

Just let us know and we’ll stop your first and all subsequent payments.
