- Child Psychologist

I am a Child Psychologist and my great passion is to bring healing to children and families who have experienced trauma or stressful events in life..

Being a mother awakened in me the desire to dive deep into Psychology and learn all about the way we behave. Having the opportunity to learn and unveil human behavior, and to explore every path that leads us to our uniqueness and individual choices, was by far the most amazing experience and the best choice I have made in my life.

It was only when I become a Psychologist that I finally found my place, my tribe, and with that, my passion – bringing healing to people who need it. Ultimately, It is my goal to help every family, child and adult to find healthy perceptions of themselves and strengthen their relationships so they can know themselves as peaceful, complete, whole and safe, and consequently, to become a solid foundation for future generations.

During my time working as a Child Psychologist in the NHS, I had the privilege to work with many children and families from all walks of life. I also had the opportunity to work with wonderful people, who shared the same passion and had the same goal at heart – to bring healing to others. With them, I learnt to be humble, to be curious and to never stop working on developing my skills because every person will present me with their uniqueness and challenge me in different ways.

I have also learnt that behaviour is usually an expression of a problem, and not the problem itself. It is for this reason that humans, are far more complex than what Psychology, Neuroscience, Psychiatry, or any other science on its own can explain. Holism, combined with Psychology, offers an approach looking at the entire person rather than focusing on just one aspect of the problem.

During this journey I have also studied Aromatherapy, Mindfulness Meditation, Transcendental Meditation and Reiki. I am currently studying Human Design, a system that combines Chinese ancient wisdom with quantum physics.

My educational background includes a MSc in Health Psychology, a BSc (Hons) in Psychology and Child Development, and graduate certificates in Neuroscience, Play Therapy, Mindfulness, CBT, PWP, DBT, Trauma, Suicidal Ideation and Self-harm.

In my free time, I enjoy long walks with my children and our little puppy, trips to the beach, cooking, books, movies and music are part of my life and always lift me up, and to ground myself, I like to practice yoga and to meditate.
